1. Where are you located/ When are you open?

We are located at 38 St Kilda Rd, St Kilda VIC Australia.

2. Are your products available in store?

Yes they are! We have a huge range available in store, and more hire costumes and purchase accessories than appear on our website. If there is anything you can’t find, please call us and we’ll endeavour to make your vision a reality!

3. Can I try the costumes on?

Yes you can! All hire and sale costumes are available to try in store. The only things unavailable to try on are hosiery and morph suits.

4. How much does it cost to hire?

The average cost of hire is $65 ranging up to $95 for mascots. Our “bond” depends on the costume you choose as the Bond price is the same as Hire price and is refunded once the costume is returned on time and in good condition. A $20 fee applies to all cancellations.

Once a hire costume has left the store, cancellations can not be made. We do not provide refunds on hire costumes due to change of mind once they have left the premises.

5. Can I return my costume?

Our purchase costumes and accessories are able to be returned within 7 days of purchase for a full refund or up to 14 days for exchange.

Due to the seasonal nature of these products, Halloween and Oktoberfest costumes cannot be returned or exchanged.

The costume must be in its original intact packaging and must be unworn. Miss Kitty’s Costumes reserves the right to assess the condition of the costume to determine if a refund is appropriate. The costume must also be accompanied by the original receipt.

The following products are unable to be returned for a refund or exchange, due to being perishable goods/ for Hygiene reasons:
• stockings & tights
• morph suits & undergarments
• eyelashes & contact lenses
• wigs, beards & moustaches
• makeup, makeup kits or special effects makeup
• masks
• teeth & prosthetics

Hire costumes may not be returned for a refund once they have left the store.
It is also important to remember that none of the above terms and conditions affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Australian Trade Practices Act.

6. How long can I hire for?

Our hire period is generally for 3 days. Collection can be made from Friday onwards and returns are on Tuesdays. Extended and midweek hires can also be arranged.
